The list is unofficial, but Cleveland.com reports that the Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms with a number of undrafted rookie free agents today.

That list includes Kentucky wide receiver Chris Mathews, UTEP running back Donald Buckram, Georgetown College defensive lineman Kyle Anderson, Missouri cornerback Carl Gettis, Notre Dame linebacker Brian Smith, Tennessee State linebacker Sidney Tarver and Division II Hillsdale (Mich.) College quarterback Troy Weatherhead.

Mathews (6-5, 219), the NFL Draft’s No. 45 wideout by Mel Kiper Jr., caught 61 passes for 925 yards and nine touchdowns. Kiper said that Mathews “is one of the more physically imposing wide receivers in this draft. He can go up and get the football with the best of them. … Outside of Julio Jones, he might be the best blocking wide receiver in this draft class.”

Buckram finished among UTEP’s top 10 career rushers with 2,417 yards and 21 touchdowns. That included an amazing 2009 season with 1,594 yards and 18 touchdowns on 259 carries (6.2 average), as well as 30 receptions for 452 yards (15.1) and three scores. A knee bruise hampered him last season.

Smith, a 6-foot-3, 234-pound outside backer, recorded 50 tackles in 13 games with the Fighting Irish this past season. He had 200 career stops in 47 games with a team-high 37 total starts.

Weatherhead led the Hillsdale Chargers to the playoffs for two straight seasons and also topped the nation with a 171.59 passer-efficiency rating last year. He was the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the year and holds school career records for yards passing (9,144), touchdown passes (63) and completions (795)
